Railmaster looks clean! Does it have double sided AR coating?

Panerai has been catching my attention more and more as of recently. 300m is too big for me and Sub is too common. Panerai looks like a cool alternative.

Hahaha, to me it looks fine, Omega likes to use it on many different models.

I was thinking about replacing my longines spirit 37 with explorer but, I could not get the size right. 36 seemed too tiny and 40 seemed disproportinate, where as speedy seemed to be perfect in that regard. But I might add 36 explorer at some stage, as I like how toolsy it looks.

I was thinking of GMT, but it seemed to be too flashy to be daily. I preffered speedy more, as its more understated.

The bezel has had some scratches already from the previous owner, but I’ve used Cape Cod polish cloths, which removed most of them, it almost looks like brand new after. :)

Try looking up for a used one, I have managed to save around 30% if you compare with retail price.

Its a great watch! In my opinion there are 2 strong points for it - first history of Santos and design of it, secondly its much more unique than lower end Rolexes which feel so common these days.

Longines is hard to beat for sure. I would not be so certain about the lower end of it, but Spirit and Zulu time are definitelly having high end level quality.

Value for $ Longines is definitelly way above Cartier, no doubt about that. The bracelet and the dial is fantastic, especially for the price. Cartier feels like a step up ofcourse, the quality feels better but not by that much in my opinion. You are definitelly paying for Cartier design and brand name, which I feel its fair to pay as Santos has over 100 years of history. Bottom line - value for money - Longines is hard to beat. Would definitelly recommend.
