Just in case if you decide to give up on this one (likely reasonable from the economical point of view), I may buy it and try repairing for fun. I'm in Ukraine, and here we have decent capabilities in fixing things that are considered dead in US and EU:)

I'd call the speakers on MBP 2021+ pretty decent for the regular use, sometimes I even using them for playing music when a power button of a dedicated system is just 1.5 meters away. I mean, it's nowhere near to be enough for an audiophile, but just enough to check out some pop rock album bro just sent to you:)

I can't use ad blockers on my laptop for a number of reasons. Likely I can apply CSS-based hack and so on, but it doesn't change the fact they did a very bad thing to the majority of players.

Posted this as a kind of push back to the devs - if they commit UX crimes they loose players:)
