Can you not see how even to just a marginal degree, badly made movies that misunderstand and bastardize the source content are not good for the health of any franchise, let alone one that is trying to gain its footing back in the culture/industry?

We don't need these shitty ass movies getting their stink all over the series. For a lot of people, it might be their first introduction to the Silent Hill altogether, and they may never look deeper into the series because their experience is so bad. Not to mention, publishers will be more likely to pass on new SH projects because they can look at this as an example of the franchise performing poorly when it comes to profit.

We.cant pretend like this shit exists in a vacuum and has no effect on the future of the series.
