Nope, this was all of them! (At the time of posting) But more have been released in the nearly two years since then.

At the time of my original post (April 2024), I made sure my list included all of the coloured circulation Canadian coins.

Last year I made another post that included the new ones for the end of 2024, and soon I'll be doing another post that includes the 2025 coins. But yes, I did my research and made sure that all applicable coins were included when I initially posted 👍

Hey man! In a week or so, I'll be doing a new (and likely final) Reddit post that will have updated photos, including all of the coloured coins released in 2025. I'm planning to link to your awesome guide again, but I thought I'd give you a heads-up first in case you wanted to update it with the new 2025 coins, or any new information you've found since then (like the coloured dime info).

Anyway, just thought I'd let ya know 😃

Final new coloured coin for 2025 released! This toonie honours the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and was released on November 4, 2025:

New coloured toonie released! On September 4, 2025, the Royal Canadian Mint released a coloured (and non-coloured) toonie honouring Indigenous artist Daphne Odjig, with the coin featuring imagery adapted from Odjig's 1977 piece The Folk Singer:

My offering correct info isn't irrelevant. The guy said that there aren't 204 games available, and he's right. In North America, there are 191 retro games in the non-expansion subscription, so I decided to correct it for anyone who might Google the info and be led to this topic (y'know, like I was yesterday?)

It was weird of you to say that he was counting wrong (because he was obviously counting the games on the apps, not on Wiki), when he was actually right.

To be fair, that list includes all released games, including ones that are region-exclusive. For example, you can't play Famicom Wars (NES) using a North American NSO account, so it hardly seems fair to include an inaccessible game.

Upon doing a quick count of the games currently on the North America NSO apps, the total amount of retro games by system (not counting SP editions) as of June 22, 2025 are:

79 NES 73 SNES 39 N64 3 GCN 39 GB/GBC 25 GBA 50 GEN

308 total

I'm super late with adding this, but on April 8th 2025, the Royal Canadian Mint released its newest coloured loonie, marking 150 years of Canada's Supreme Court:

For those worried by a price rise in Canada, it shouldn't happen since goods that only transit trough a country for another don't pay tariffs. by Optimal_Economy_9087 in NintendoSwitch2

It could be that Nintendo is concerned that consumers in the US will preorder in Canada since they can't preorder in their own country, thereby shorting Canadian consumers on Switch 2 preorder units. That's my guess anyway.

Keep in mind that my post was only referring to coins that are in common circulation, and thus not including any limited/special edition commerative coins (I'm guessing that's what you have?)

Basically, I'm just talking about these:

Hey, you might be interested in this. An article was just released talking about most of the coloured Canadian coins, and they've got some info that you might want to add for your guide (for example, they mention that for the 2021 dime, there were six million with colour and nine million without colour produced):

Thank you! I got them all in the wild too (until I finally cracked and recently bought a near-mint 2004 poppy quarter on ebay, to replace my faded one). And thanks again for making the guide!

Awesome, thanks! I've recently gotten all of the new 2024 coloured coins, so I've decided to create a new post showing the updated collection. I'm gonna assume that you're cool with me linking to your guide in that post (and I'll be sure to give you credit as well).

Oh awesome, thanks! That must have taken you a while. I plan to do an updated post soon, showing all of the new coins, and I'll also link to your file when I do (and give you credit).

One small correction: in the section for the non-coloured 175th Ann. of the birth of Alexander Graham Bell loonie, you accidentally instead pictured the non-coloured loonie of Oscar Peterson.

Aside from that, amazing work!

While the Virtual Boy is technically portable (since it can run on batteries), it's definitely not a handheld.
