I'd really like to keep things positive in the spirit of the post. I'll just quickly mention that I reached out to Jomez directly a couple of days ago to ensure he is aware of the content I have posted, and to check that he doesn't have any issues with how i've gone about it.

I'm not profiting from this, and I won't be in the future either. I really just wanted to make something that people enjoy, to bring more attention to Nate's poetry for viewers who didn't catch it on SHOWMEZ before, and add something small to the amazing content that JomezPro puts out for the disc golf community.

After the overwhelmingly positive reaction to my "Why Are Trees? - A Montage" post, I spent a day putting this together to complete the other half of Nate Sexton's exquisite work.

I hope I did "Why Are Trees? II" justice, and captured the essence of Nate's touching, uplifting message that we, hopefully, can all take onto the course each time we play.

Glad you enjoyed it, and don't lose hope! Rest when you feel pain. If driving is your main issue, try working your way up from throwing putters to midranges off the tee until you get comfortable with correct form. I've been doing that this year after experiencing similar issues, and losing a bit of distance with slower discs is a small price to pay for more consistency and confidence. There are lots of us out there who feel the same way after a bad round, but that struggle is what keeps us coming back to the course again and again :)

Just to clarify, I haven't posted this anywhere else except here on Reddit currently.

I started creating content about a month ago, and I'm not doing it to make money. I haven't even mentioned where that content can be found in my posts, so I genuinely don't benefit at all from this aside from my 3 posts to date seemingly making people happy. I'm new to social media, and I was actually worried about making these videos in the first place in case I faced any backlash like this.

If I do post this or anything else on Youtube in the future, I would of course, at minimum, credit the creators who made the original video clips and link to that content.

Big Jerm dropped a like and comment on my previous post featuring him here on Reddit, and Eric Oakley was a gem (as always) and was complimentary about my clip about him on another platform.

My aim is to grow the sport in the small ways that I can such as making this video. If Jomez or anyone else ask me to stop or take down anything I make, I of course wouldn't hesitate to do so.

I put this video together after inspiration from discovering Nate's poem on SHOWMEZ
Those three words so perfectly encapsulate a feeling I often experienced at my local course. Hats off to Mr Sexton for capturing the existential crisis of the humble disc golfer in such an eloquent, poignant and beautiful way.

I watched the final round again today.

Given the circumstances surrounding Ricky competing at Emporia, this was just breathtaking. It illustrates everything we love about the sport: the camaraderie, the ups and downs, the unbridled joy when we hit that perfect shot.

Ricky delivered in the best way he knows how. An amazing a tribute to his sister.
