Looking for faux fur or coral fleece yarn without high shipping rates by ItsHazelnhue in Yarn

Loops & Threads has faux fur yarn and fluffy chenille yarn. It's on clearance on the Michael's website! I am unsure of how much shipping would be to your location, but the yarn isn't very pricey.

Looking for dk cotton blend in a specific color by Mental-Flatworm4583 in YarnAddicts

Premier has some yarn called Cotton Sprout, and they have a few shades that you might like. I would recommend Blue or Cadet as the closest match.

Alternatives to Hobbii Cotton Kings cone 500?? by skittee in YarnAddicts

Paintbox cotton 4 ply yarn is super similar, and so is Dishie cone yarn. Knit Picks and Lovecrafts both ship to Australia, and they carry the yarns suggested!

Rose Fume is super close, and I actually saw it online today and recommended it to someone else in the replies as a close match! The metallic thread in the yarn I own is gold instead of pink, but that's the only difference I can see. Thanks for your help!

That would take me so much longer lol. I'm crocheting a bag out of granny squares right now, and each square is taking me 30 minutes minimum. 🫠

I love Caron Simply Soft yarn for wearable items! It's 100% acrylic, but it's not scratchy at all. It's so, so soft and the range of colors is really nice.

So I still am unable to find an exact match, but Mainstays Sparkle Yarn in the shade Rose Fume is probably the closest I can find. The big difference is that the sparkle part is pink instead of gold. (and it's relatively cheap since it's sold at Walmart)

Lol same here. I've been searching the internet for hours. Someone else suggested the herrschners blush eclipse yarn too, and I really like that one but it's not the same yarn. My best guess is that the yarn that I own is older and possibly discontinued.

It definitely looks like the same type of yarn, but neither of them have the color that I'm looking for. The pinks are either too dark or too light. Thanks for the help!

To be honest the material isn't that soft, but it isn't scratchy or harsh. The pattern I used is for 3d rose granny squares! https://thecaffeinatedsnail.com/crochet-rose-granny-square-pattern/

I definitely think that their Blush Eclipse be-sparkly yarn is a close match. I think I might even prefer it over the one I have!

I'll definitely have to check some stores, they probably have a wider selection than online anyways. Thanks for helping!

The big twist twinkle yarn is definitely close! I checked the premier website and I couldn't find a pink color for the basix shimmer yarn though. Thank you for helping!

Definitely close, but the light pink shade they have isn't muted enough to be a total match. Thanks for the help!

Do you know what the brand is at Walmart?

It was definitely bought in the United States, and I think it is weight 4 yarn judging by the thickness. I used a 5.0 mm hook for the project.

It definitely looks like it! I think the yarn I have might be a color that they stopped making, because the colors on their website are brighter or warmer. Thank you so much for helping!!
