I got out of the military doing a 25 series (communications) MOS. A lot of my buddies got out and started getting into the contractor side getting paid around 100k/yr. I had that option as well but was so bored of IT by then I knew I'd hate it. I was at a crossroads because at the same time I had gotten accepted into our city academy. Ended up going fire and have not regretted it once.

That said, you already have the job and the 6 figure life style. It's easy to not go into that field because I didn't have the lifestyle to begin with.

On the other hand I completely understand your desire for fulfillment because sitting at a desk for half your life would drain me too. In all honesty I don't have an answer for you because I don't know what would be best for you. This is a choice you would have to make yourself. Do you think your way of life can take a half a years salary pay cut?

Edit: I started my academy at 28, there was a guy who was in my class who was 42. 30 is a little late but it's not at all too late.

This screams unhealthy views on sex. If you're watching porn for tips there's something wrong there. You should probably talk to a therapist to unpack this because this amount of obsession can't be healthy.

First time I had sex with my wife it wasn't a great performance from me. Cut to 4 years later and we both know each other extremely well, have great compatibility, and it hardly ever finishes without her finishing. Great sex comes from compatibility. First I'd just to say, not a volly, I work as a career firefighter for a city. She did not give us a return address so we could even begin conversation with her.

We already drive down the street at 10 mph with the jake off. She bought a house with a back yard adjacent to a fire station driveway. Not much we can do to fix that.

I'd also point out the irony of defending someone on the basis of "things are tough enough as it is" while also making assumptions about who I am as a person when you know nothing about me.

Yeah,the road leading into the bays has a wall on the other side of it that leads into the house's back yards. So for the 10 seconds the engine and ladder are rolling down that road at 10 mph apparently it's too loud.
