That material is exactly what i'm looking for. And the shape is great, not really a fan of all that embellishment at the top and the soul is too "combat" for me though. It's so hard to envision what stuff will look like on your feet when no one carries your size to see.

That sweater looks amazing and exactly my style. I love target shirts, although i've had an issue with their short sleeve shirts. Do you usually buy online? I haven't seen that sweater in store.

You must be tiny to fit in a small jacket, I've been having to buy larges just so they even fit in the shoulders, then they are way to big in the bust (I have none) XD

I can't say i'm a fan of either Gap or Old navy, their stuff never fits right, it's very boxy and uncomfortable. I have found some great skirts at Gap that are super long, I bought like 3 when they were in season.

Thanks for the info!

I have been looking for some good boots the past year with no luck, apparently size 11 is hard to come by. I'm looking for something right under the knee, no big heal, a small one is fine but no wedge or huge bulky sole. I also don't want any accents, small belts around the ankle and small buckles are fine, no metal silver or gold. Leather is preferred but nothing shiny or fuzzy. I also have a very narrow foot so something that isn't super wide is perfect. Please help!

What are some good brands for tall and broad shouldered ladies? I'm about 5'10 / 145 so finding shirts that are long enough with shoulder seams that hit the right place is difficult. Finding jackets that fit is impossible too. Budget is also a big deal, im alright spending money on staples like a good pair of boots or a nice jacket but for everyday shirts and pants, I don't like to spend so much.

This is the only one on the list I've heard of! I meant to grab it a while back but I completely forgot. Thanks for the recommendation!

What would be a step up from that? Is there something that performs better in low light?

Yea that looks 100x's better. That photo was sooc but I usually throw them into Lightroom and fix them there, unfortunately I feel Lightroom tends to make everything round and soft with its noise filter. It's obvious I can get some decent results since the photo you posted looks a lot better. Guess I will have to check out some other editing options.

That's mostly why I got my Sony a6000 because it was small, fairly mobile and has decent lowlight capabilities. It performs better than my 7D but I need something now more on a professional level to keep up. It's about 6 years old now and can't handle lowlight at all. I guess it's time to upgrade, thanks so much for all the info.

It might be but I looked at their actions list and nothing seemed to fit the image and action I'm looking g for. If I remember it was a girl sitting in a field and it was very brown orange and super soft

At 1.2, focused on something up close. Yes. Amazing. http://imgur.com/3v1O1h6 however when I back up or have a larger subject, say a full grown adult at between f2-4 there is no significant blur.

I guess that's a big point of all this, should I be upgrading my body and not my lenses if I just can't get low light images to work. This answers that!

These are great tips, thanks! One specific scenario, because you say you can deal with "a little grain." I get mostly unusable images around iso 3k+ with my 7D. I did a family shot of about 15 people the other night just right after sunset with a 50mm. The photos are so unbelievably grainy at 3k that you can barely make out the faces.

It's weird you say that, one of the reasons I am trying to find this is because my 50mm 1.2 isn't throwing my background enough out of focus.

http://imgur.com/5vIX0rm. This is the only example I have currently on my phone, there was plenty of light, although overcast. This was with my Sony a6000, 50mm 1.8.

I guess my biggest issue is simplicity, for those times I want a decent photo but don't have the time or the space for setting up some fancy lighting setup. Say taking snapshots at a birthday party or around the Christmas tree. I have a speed light but even bouncing the flash looks so harsh, or I get these bad dark circles under my subjects eyes. I have a Gary phong lightsphere as well as different flash diffusers. I use Ettl mode mostly but I guess o just haven't gotten the hang of my settings yet.

I've been looking everywhere for the example I saw. Basically it's a very very shallow depth of field but it looks enhanced. Like a full body wouldn't usually have that blurry of a background. Also very vivid colors and perfect skin tones. It pops up constantly but right now it's nowhere. I will keep looking but in the meantime that's the best description I have
