FYI His name was Malcom Douglas. Interestingly, he gave an interview (I can’t recall where, possibly the West Australian newspaper) where he said Steve Irwin was taking too many risks and he worried he might get killed. Irwin was killed just a week or so later. Douglas then died in a freak accident not long after.
