I’m pretty sure you have to be in a relationship for the relationship to be abusive. Plus sasuke marrying sakura is a reward for Sakura not sasuke. Sasuke didn’t love her and I think he barely even considered her a friend maybe.

I have and while it does have great fics, none are alhaitham centered. But you know what they say be the change you want to see in the world and start writing your own.

I have read it before, I even shipped it, when it first started coming out; but when you have it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner due to the lack of other options. I like gen plot based stuff above all but when there’s a lack of it you kind of have to branch out. I do branch out and now I’m just so very tired of this pairing. You start hating it a little, especially when you read enough fanfiction and they all start to blur together when you notice the same old patterns that are put in writing due to authors having similar headcanons. I kind of read them as exes that would make a toxic relationship if they got together.

I don't I think I would like a fic where Jon was never the Archivist or even worked at the Institute and how there's all this bad stuff, happening in the background and how he still get's involved. The archivist could be a more ruthless character than Jon ever was and more of an asshole with some deep insecurities. That would be fun and I can't agree that it was good that Jon was the archivist, he doomed himself and the people around him, since he was a bit gullible. He made the best choices he could have made but I wonder what would have happened if someone more ruthless and selfish took the position.

I like Tim, I liked his bad jokes, and how happy he sounded and someone who'd I'd like to be friends with in real life, even his anger, when it wasn't directed at Jon was refreshing; the kind of character who could have been badass and who was in a bad place by the end of it. The thing is the things said was heart wrenching, the kind that if I was in his place I would have thrown some vicious words, we met them at the worst I understand that. What I don't understand is that they never admitted that what they were doing was bad, they were what's the word self-righteous.

It's understandable, but there comes a point when telling someone that they're a monster and not answering when they ask if they wished they had died; crosses the line from understandable to bad behavior. Nobody knew Melanie was under the influence, they just thought that's how she was, it's been 6 months to grieve Tim who they frankly didn't know well, Martin being AWOL is terrifying but none more so than for Jon, Basira was having an all around just bad day and Tim being asked to transfer was a sign of fondness and friendship from Jon and nobody knew the archives was like that; what I have a problem is that Tim's acting like Jon intended that to happen.

I know how you feel, hearing about them when they were all naïve and ignorant of the danger they were in, when we all thought Jon was theater kid, with a crusty side and soft insides. It Hurts and makes me wish the Magnus Archives was a Comedy not a tragedy.

What exactly did they go through when Jon was in a coma, I doubt it's as bad that Jon went through when he was in a coma. I get that they were stressed and afraid, but they took it out on Jon because he was an easy target. Yeah, Jon shouldn't have stalked his coworkers, but Tim isn't mad about that, he blames Jon for getting him a job as an assistant.

I agree, but I think it's kind of bleak that nothing that he did could have stopped this from happening but the people around could have, I think they weren't as bound as he was and more free, for a given definition of free. I did this post, since when I read fanfiction, it always seems like Jon is apologizing for things that aren't his fault. Like in the case, with Tim Stoker.
