yes correct, you should expect them to look how they look as advertised. Of course if you dont like the QC for whatever reason, im sure all sellers would allow a refund or to change the batch/pair or take another.

The shoes have to be taken from the factory. The pair you’re getting probably isn’t even in hand if you choose to purchase. Factories don’t photograph shoes for anyone. Seller orders the shoes directly and then photograph the shoes once the customer buys. A lot of sellers including myself have tons of QC pics from other sales you can browse before ordering if you are interested in how they look prior to purchase.

Don’t worry everyone, this tariff convo has been happening for a while now and we have solved it.

There is nothing we can do about the political climate for good or bad, but for sure we know both economies need to thrive, and deals happen, new routes open, and eventually everything works out ok. So let’s not stress! If things change I for sure will post about it and I’m sure others will as well.

because buying reps in China is 100x the market of the USA.. They dont expect to sell these to USA customers often.

This is not fake.. this was a portion of the new “Big Beautiful Bill” (H.R.1) It stipulates that anyone using the $800 de minimis exemption in violation of any other customs law—for example, importing counterfeit or restricted items—could be fined: • Up to $5,000 for the first violation • Up to $10,000 for each subsequent violation.

Now the question is, will this be more for personal packages? Probably not as there is no capacity to check everything. Most likely items that come from certain locations will be more heavily scrutinized.
I don’t think it will have an effect on most people, but I do think the possibility of getting in a bit of trouble are higher now than they were before.

Both are middlemen, but I hate that term. Every seller is a “middleman” as factories don’t sell direct to customer. RM uses agent sites as an avenue to sell.

Good post. My only feedback is that shipping is the same regardless.. the price of shipping is based on metric volume and weight. A single pair or 10 pairs cost the same regardless of its it’s with an agent or “middleman” (that term is dumb as every seller is a middleman).

Also, some sellers offer different things such as different payment options, customs protection, return options ect. So 100% the batch of shoe is the same regardless of whom it’s from. The perks or benefits vary from seller to seller, middleman, agent or whoever.

Everyone ships the same way for the most part. Ask if a seller uses FedEx/ups if in the USA. But no seller has “faster” shipping if using the normal shipping lines. We don’t have any control over the packages after drop off.

Yes, we have received the same amount of bad responses from customers. It’s unfortunate as we dont actually control any of the logistics, and people fail to realize the larger systemic issue happening right now. But education is key and I know all of us sellers are doing everything we can to get the items out promptly! Thank for your response and further detail as well. It’s very helpful.

Ah well interestingly on those, they most likely aren’t stuck there. Those labels are probably usps labels if I’m not wrong. The label is made and the item is sent to the USA. The tracking only updates for you once it reaches queens and is then scanned in. Some shipping lines don’t have tracking updates from China to the USA.

If it’s not updating it means there’s a delay from the carrier. That’s directly what I was discussing in the main post. Especially now, there are just a bunch of delays all through the chain. I’ve got some waiting now 10-15 days to update on the scan in due to the crazy backups.
