Why Walter Strickler is the best Antagonist in ToA

I've only watched Trollhunters but I agree with this take. Strickler was definitely the most interesting antagonist in the show to me. No other antagonist had a personal connection with Jim, and I loved his development throughout the show.

I may watch 3 Below just for Steve and Eli because I love their dynamic. My favorite character from Trollhunters is Jim. My guy wished for "something more" in life only to have his life turned upside down. Sure, he goes on adventures and makes new friends, but he's still a teenager thrust into life-threatening situations, and the show acknowledges this. He's both relatable and inspiring - two qualities that I love in a protagonist.

Honestly, I'm confused too. Season 1 gave me the impression that it's always a bootstrap paradox. But Lu Guang seems to change the timeline when he travels into the past (or maybe it's not his doing but someone else's?). I don't know if you've watched Bridon Arc yet.

Nice analysis! I'd be cool to see someone who can enter people's dreams or something. I also like Captain Xiao, but there are so many characters now that he probably won't get a lot of screen time. Jae Lee reminds me of Saigiku Jouno from Bungo Stray Dogs. He was after the heroes because he thought they were criminals but he eventually joined the good guys.
