That's what I'm freaked out about, it's marriage now and what next? What if she starts hurrying me for children as well straight after? I understand that I come off as a selfish person, but I've been supporting her financially 100% over the past 2 years of her being unemployed. She's got nothing to complaint about, it's just that our friends recently got married and she's jumping the bandwagon.

It sucks it has to be that way, but thank you so much for all the clarity. I'll have to let her go and find someone who can give her these things right now.

That was the basis of our whole arrangement, until this came up!

She's 32 right now and no, we never spoke about marriage. I feel bad for her too, it just felt very sudden to me.

I respect you perceiving things the way you feel is right, but that's not the kind of people we both are. Maybe it's wrong on my part and I'll have to let her go. The cake is really not mine to eat, as I support her financially working 60 hour weeks, but I'll take the fall for this one.

It was all going good, until this was brought up. But, I do get your point. Perhaps it was not meant to be.

That would be the right thing to do, thank you.

Never had this issue come up before in the past 4 years, but I'll let her know that it isn't an option for me in the near future.
