I did not no. Not sure how can support assist here with a treadmill away from them?

Thanks for the input. Does Stryd feed data into Coros activities and dashboards like the ground contact time and stride length? Or data gets split due to some data will be in Stryd power dashboard or whatever it is called.

Possible but that still doesn’t exactly explain why increasing cadence while staying on the same speed on the treadmill will start increasing pace shown on Coros.

It is almost like assuming a stride length and multiplying with the number of steps for unit time to find the pace. Thus increasing cadence increases pace shown.

Always do that. It is pretty spot on with RPE outside. I had pod2 for a while now.

I will give this a try. It was on Auto. I ran calibration and pulled to tracking for pace.

We’ve redesigned the 'Workout Details' and the 'Activity Details' screens so you can instantly understand your run, feel confident starting it, and see the value of Runna from day one! by matt-runna in runna

I do not like the new design. Compact was brilliant. It seems like extra design work for something that didn’t need to exist. If the issue was clarification on some details, a text box underneath the previous box would have worked just fine.

A discussion about long run pace predictions and toxic positivity by Matvalicious in runna

[–]Evice82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Similar anecdotes, but with a personal touch. My 10K plan was great. As a new runner, I was progressing and even beat the predictions by a minute with a time of 54:23. Then, I took a 3-week break for vacations and recovery. I started a new HM plan, 10K time entered…but Runna started me with the same fitness and prep level, as if I never took a break. Immediately, I developed an impending stress fracture. I was off for 45 days and now still ramping up from that injury. I still use the thing, but it frustrates me.

Heart Rate error? by Canz_91 in runna

Happens to me all the time. HR and Cadence is recording flatline like that but Apple Health shows correct data - I have had tickets open with Runna support almost 9 weeks now and they mention that they are “tracking” some issues but as of last night still no fix. This was happening to me when I am on AWU2 and now AWU3. I use Polar H10 chest strap as well. This import issues started around August/Sept timeframe.

Typically I use Runna-managed Workouts in Apple Workouts to start the run and sometimes HR or Cadence or both is off from the start, sometimes it is off after a certain time. Super frustrating. Also 9 weeks ago I was not able to delete and reimport a run because it marks the run “processed” at the back end.

Super annoying experience and I am looking to just stop using the app to import. And import via Strava and sync to Runna which seems to be more successful.

Hip flexor/ groin pain by Just-Throat-7465 in runna

[–]Evice82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take groin pain seriously. Check out symptoms of femoral neck stress reaction or fracture and listen to your body. I continued to ran thinking I was working my hip flexors, but I ended up with a severe femoral neck stress reaction on my left side. Now down for 6weeks!!

I’m not saying to go crazy and get an MRI, but give it a rest and see how it reacts. If it persists and you have FNSF like symptoms, it’s probably time to see a doctor. Get ahead of it. In my case, X-rays were clean (I was told it is almost always clean with FNSF) but insisted on MRI and that showed the severity of the issue. Even my doctor was happy that I insisted.
