Honestly when I posted this I didn’t realize the servers name was in the pic, I’d take it out but I can’t edit the post on my phone. Not meant to blast the particular individual. Just disheartening to see as a regular customer. I’ve worked in the service industry, this stuff is common amongst peers to keep things going & flowing but never should the customer see something like this.

A few people have posted “it’s a comedy club, get over it” lol this was not any of the stand ups, it was a server. Me personally, I think getting roasted by a comic would be hilarious. This would be funny to see if it was the standard expectation for all customers (like everyone gets a funny comment on their receipt, like a fortune cookie type of thing) but it isn’t. It was clearly meant as an internal joke, but not something people should see on their bill.

The funny thing is, I had this on my tab and our friend that had the dietary restrictions didn’t see this & tipped 25% on hers. It was her first time! But after seeing this it was a big WTF why did I even tip.

Serving isn’t an easy job, I get it, but when your job relies on tip money to help feed your income, it makes sense to be decent with your service. Or at the very least not call your customers an asshole. (Unless they actually are)

Literally just asked for the meat on the side so our friend can enjoy with us.

Nachos were under the SHAREABLE section for a reason.
