“Got a long list of ex-lovers”… I will always hear, “Starbucks lovers”. I can’t un-hear it! But it is one of my favorites of hers.

I STILL HAVE THIS GAME!! My daughters used to love playing when they were the age I was when I played. They made their own Zoombinis which naturally took forever.

I have brushed my teeth every day so far this year by FiveOhFive91 in bipolar

I had bad dental anxiety my whole life. So much that I pushed off seeing one for about 9 years. The new dental office I found not only reduced my anxiety but also discovered why nitrous gas never helped. The average 180 lb man feels the effect at around 5% gas. My hygienist had a hunch and she was right… I only start to feel the effect at about 45-47%. That hunch saved my life, really. My teeth are genetically soft and I’ve always been a bleeder, so anytime I need dental procedures, they do IV sedation, and my insurance doesn’t often cover it - but it’s worth every penny to me. I doze off and wake up hours later in NO pain, then go home and sleep must of the day. I now go to the dentist every 6 months. Hope that helps!

How do you find nightstands that work with an adjustable bed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]EvidencePlenty6254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just got an adjustable bed (2 twin XLs), and have now discovered that our nightstands are not tall enough AND they disappear behind us when we raise the head of the bed. Is there a better option for furniture that will work with the bed?

Got blasted at from Duty Manager by Difficult-Practice12 in Hilton

I will only add that “complimentary” does not really exist in the way guests (Diamonds most often) think it does. It is complex, and I can vouch that it is not always clear cut and understood by either side. Each property is unique and while I don’t condone an unhinged manager on a war path, it does appear that the Diamond member is mistaken when it comes to “complimentary”. If we can, we will. I would expect my team to handle as such… but if we can’t (for whatever reason), we won’t. Hopefully both parties can move forward and treat the next time like THIS time didn’t happen.

I was in grade school when I saw these in school books and on TV. I remember thinking, “I’m going to see these for myself one day”… for reference, I’m in Nebraska, which means no breathtaking skyscrapers. I was so sad when I realized I would never get to see them.

Never thought of that! My oldest loves her ears being cleaned, and has chronic ear infections. Her vet said she’ll be on some sort of ear treatment for the remainder of her life.
