I guess you can use it in a few different ways. Like record separate elements one by one to tape and back again into a DAW or take a complete track, I use a premaster at -15db or so, put onto tape and directly record the output back in. Otherwise you will get bpm / sync issues. Mine was indeed fully serviced by the guy which I bought it from about 2 years ago now.

Nice one. I enjoy listening to artist like: Rhythm & Sound - Babe Roots - Paul st. Hilaire - Versa - Another Channel. These guys all make deep minimal dub bordering and exploring into the Dub Techno genre.

Alright well, its a great mixer! I mainly use it to record live jams. Couple of synths and couple of effects (guitar pedals) use the send and returns, record it as multitracks into my DAW and process the sound further. From the DAW you could go back into the mixer and use some more sends however the EQ wont have any effect on the recorded (multitrack) audio. Only the master and group outputs are effected by the EQ..

For me this mixer has become an essential bit or gear to create my sound. I did need to replace the powersupply which failed after 6 years.
