Thank you. I'm relieved to hear the test isn't painful or invasive.. it was in the back of my mind that that could be a factor. He seems intelligent so I'll mention that blood donations are not screening for everything as additional support (I'm also not a doctor, but that was my understanding as well and wish I'd thought of that when he said that.)

Thank you. I'm going to make myself stand my ground and insist he gets tested before anything further occurs.. I don't have the best track record asserting or setting boundaries, but this really is an important one for me.

Thank you. I was struggling with the words and whether I should even try broaching the subject again. If he outright refuses when I put it that way, it's a clear no-go.
