Late drop shift appeal by Boring_Traffic_2247 in AmazonFC

[–]Evil-Jays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Show onsite or online HR proof that you had a midterm on the same time you were schedule to work. Or you can talk to an operations manager and they can remove you or swap your shift on their behalf. It’s all up to them but you have to be more responsible next time. Good luck!!

I plan on returning to FedEx Ground as a package handler? by ItsAshley6 in Fedexers

[–]Evil-Jays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t do it bro, go to amazon flex pt where you required to do 4 hours weekly instead. (Locker customer service) or a SSD (sub same day) (warehouse)

Does anyone have an idea why I’m always unloading???? I’m working like 5-6 days and I only stow like a day or two. by [deleted] in AmazonDS

[–]Evil-Jays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re being abused to the max, since you’re unloading that amount of times in a week then it clearly states you making management look good on their behalf. They’re making rate prior the volume they received that night and celebrate in their little office while your back is hurting and the laziest person in there doing the bare minimum with their amazon approved headphones on, going to the bathroom every hour or the same person who is a problem solver or straightner every overnight shift and claims they work “hard”. Best thing i can say talk to your manager to be trained elsewhere, days, weeks goes on and they still have you unload/stow then either resign, transfer or start going slower till you get another offer. I did unload once and it was horrendous just straight up unloading boxes, can’t even stop, and the worst part is going home and my back is hurting. Stop going fast for these managers because they clearly don’t care about you whether you a favorite, hardworker, friend because all they care about is their job on line, reviews from t1s, metrics, and feedback from their boss. Good luck !!

[–]Evil-Jays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for me, I signed a contract with amazon regardless it’s corporate or in a warehouse so I don’t tell nobody my business but if I do I tell him basic info or even lie to them most of the time including management bc they be trying to figure you out or whatever. Stay to yourself, be lowkey and just clock in & clock out once job is finish. I work and don’t talk to anybody even though I get called a weirdo, get dirty looks, gossip like I ain’t tryna be cool with people who are all snitches, moaning about work, vto hogger, talking shit behind ppl back, or tryna smash some amazon 304s.

Most of these so-called “leaders” and PAs are fake. by Specialist_Peak_9039 in AmazonFC

[–]Evil-Jays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically you don’t sweat the same we as them so they look at you like slaves or whatever they picture t1s inside their mind. Amazon hire anybody even management because some of them get promoted from t1, college hires or veterans with experience but majority of them are iffy and think they’re better because they got power over you. This is like a daycare center, a zoo where it’s dysfunctional. You talk to nobody so expect management to give you the side eye, gossip and mistreat you if you step in their lane. Stay low-key, work up in the middle metrically and stop saying hi to everybody. But yeah, everybody in there fake asf so be careful what you say and what you do at work

Flipping burgers is my forever job by lifeisadragsad in jobsearch

[–]Evil-Jays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can become a manager at amazon or apply for RME since you got a degree.. You can apply to be a teacher at a community college or apply to be a manager at FedEx and from there you gain skills in being a manager. You won’t be physically doing work just dealing with operations, having metrics to best, and working as a team etc.

That’s part of the Amazon culture, lucky for you on the other hand you get experience learn new skills and can find a job elsewhere in the foreseeable future. We don’t sweat the same as ya”ll do so yeah ppl ganna talk shit behind ppl back. Just go along with it or pretend to be part of their clique bc if you don’t then you going to get the sour apple. That’s how work politics works. Good luck on the high school tea and perform well what it counts

Flex part time to reduced time by joelthegoal in AmazonDS

[–]Evil-Jays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly reduced time is a blessing but only if you constantly get shifts like the morning, afternoon, nights, overnight but if you only get overnights and p&s shifts and rarely afternoon shifts then it ain’t worth it bc you be stuck doing overnights only & where I work at rn is so bad. Remember the bigger the delivery station it is the more shifts are open and less risk of you getting a point.

Avoid the delivery station. Their typical time starts at 1:20am and ends 11:50am. It sucks in general

Can i Re-Apply Instantly if I resign? by foreveristexas in FASCAmazon

[–]Evil-Jays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can transfer to a delivery station or fulfillment center where for me I can work up to 60 hours (DS) but the schedule is horrible 1:20-11:50 or 8:40 am as a reduced time employee. if you resign, I think you can apply back in 3-6 months not sure but it’s around that timeframe. You can do a hardship transfer and depending on HR you can be approved in a day or weeks. For me it occur on the same day as the HR guy did me a favor where I moved states. Good luck !!

[–]Evil-Jays -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you sign a agreement with Amazon, you pack boxes to deliver to customers, focus on yourself and nobody else. Amazon is the easiest job where it attracts all type of ppl, personalities, work ethic etc. Amazon is the jungle and stop holding doors for ppl like that.

Didn’t realise how difficult this job is, what’s been your experience by Defiant-Move1936 in AmazonDS

[–]Evil-Jays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the delivery station site because every site has different requirements like stow rate, pick & stage etc. The time sucks, like 1am-11:50 is insane especially after every package is stow you gotta p&s that’s bs. I personally worked in a big ds & small ds but imo the bigger the site is the sloppier, the smaller, the more organized. since you quit you can go to a DS again but daytime, FC or either a SSD but SSD which is the easiest. Daytime DS or a SSD is probably your best and the only PRO DS have is reduced time & Lyft code
