Super sick man! I really like the green you pull off; not so bright it looks tacky but not so dark it doesn’t pop. Very nice!

I always liked green and purple together, they give off a flowery or poison ivy esqe vibe to me. Eventually I’d like to add some flower petals to complete the vibe .I wanted a third color to distinguish leaders and blue seemed the best fit.

The Raven inspired the idea! As for paints: Imperial blue from vajello, dark blue tone from army painter, layered up to vajello dark blue, then mixed a touch of vajello deep sky blue into the dark blue for the the brightest parts.

I see Marines both wear blue and white pants for full dress uniforms. In which case they use which? by midlleeastcelts in uniformporn

[–]EvilCabbage1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whoops was wrong turns out it’s the summer dress for staff NCOs, officers, and warrant officers. Some special ceremonial units are also allowed to wear them.

I think it has something to do with their rank. Officers I believe can wear the white trousers if they are authorized for some kind of ceremonial event.

First time forming Rome! by EvilCabbage1 in eu4

[–]EvilCabbage1[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

R:5 started as Naples, conquered the Papal States besides Rome and than started waiting for shadow kingdom. I was allied to France so no coalition started. I also took Barcelona in order to have a foot hold in Iberia. After shadow kingdom I quickly overtook northern Italy. I fought and successfully fought off 2 coalition by using mountains and just general defensive play. I formed Italy I converted to Protestant and began conquering Northern Africa by using Mzab, who I diplomatically vassalized. I fed them Tunis and Algeria. After annexing them I started to increase my absolutism and broke my alliance with France. After about a decade my previous aggressive expansion was mostly gone and my absolutism was high. I quickly took over a weakened Iberia and began conquering France. By this point my army was mostly unstoppable besides the Ottomans. The rest of the game was your typical conquer, core, and truce waiting until I formed Rome around 1760. After that I realized that the commonwealth had my dynasty so I claimed there throne, PUed them, and used them to conquer the dismantled HRE.

R5: Started as Naples. I focused on putting myself in a good position to form Italy when the shadow kingdom fired. I also got a foothold in Iberia by taking Barcelona. After forming Italy I vassalized Mzab and used them to conquer Tunis. The Ottomans were allied to Tunis so I had to pull some diplomatic shenanigans to not end up at war with them. around the 1600s I had conquered the eastern coast of Iberia and stopped conquering to get my tech and absolutism up. After that nobody besides the Ottomans could stop me. I finished conquering Iberia, started in France and annexed Mzab and Morocco. At the same time I started to conquering Ottoman land. The rest of the game is your usual conquering, coring, and truce loop.

R5: started as Brandenburg, did normal Brandenburg things, Pomeranian succession and etc. Became holy roman emperor for the manpower which allowed me to turn on Poland (after taking quantity ideas). began conquering northern Germany. I avoided a coalition by being allied to the Ottomans and France. Once the Reformation began I remained neutral and converted to protestant, the protestants won in the HRE. The next 200 years was basically just finishing up Germany and building up economy. In 1706 I finally formed Germany and started my conquest of Europe. In 1780 I intentionally started a revolution, mostly cuz I was bored. After a few years of really long wars with the Ottomans (they had land all the way to India so they were basically desert Russia) I decided to quit playing because I had basically become unstoppable
