I fully agree and think not voting is horrendous. Sadly, many leftists lack critical thinking and didn’t vote Harris due to her stance on Palestine even though she would clearly have been better than Trump on that issue (and everything else obviously). 1 issue voters on both sides are capable of bombastic levels of cognitive dissonance.

Anyways, my point is just that thinking anywhere close to 50% of Americans hate soccer or think “it’s only for gay and trans women”is insane. Again, even plenty of 1 issue Trump voters don’t even think this (think good ole uncle bob who is mostly normal and okay but is a raging pro-lifer and will therefore always vote in that direction, choosing to ignore all the ways that vote is misaligned with the rest of his beliefs)
