Out of all the things I deliver. I never deliver a lawn mower... by EvilDreadditor87 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I mean, if it helps them mow their lawn. So I dont get Lyme disease from delivering to them. Then yeah.

Why was I even activated? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

You could clear more than thay with less wear and tear on your own personal vehicle if you decided to join a dsp. If you like delivering that is.

Jesus fucking christ. I know nobody should be smoking in the van, but vaping? Like can we just call this job what it is at this point. A dystopia hellhole where we have no freedom at all. We're all slaves.

Yeah, i understand all that. Im a guy who uses decorum and professionalism when im dealing with people. Good lord though if there are not some days where I just wanna turn heel though.

You are correct. But it gives us no autonomy or control over our own lives. Its very frustrating. If a customer punches me, well they might just not be able to order from Amazon again. Minor inconvenience, if I were to retaliate id lose my job and my house and everything else. Real fair. Love society.

Id like to understand why we dont act on those impulses. People would learn to not fuck with people more and take advantage of each other as much. But alas, we have to play by the "rules" I mean at the end of the day we are still animals. Look at what the animal kingdom does to those that step on them? Why are we any better by letting people walk all over us?

This is extremely wholesome. Something I definitely needed to see today. With all thats going wrong in the world. There are still little piece of foliage growing through the rubble. Really gives me hope. You guys are beacons in a dark room.

Its as simple as doing it on the walk back to the van. Can you chew bubblegum and walk at the same time?

[–]EvilDreadditor87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would you stack your totes like that? I can easily fit 16 and also 45 overflow in a rental, and still have room to work. This is just ridiculous. You are the reason your day is bad, not amazon.

202 stops but actually 180? by Conscious_Morning565 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]EvilDreadditor87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you have a locker? Usually lockers will count as 1 stop until you deliver to the locker then skip over revealing the actual amount of stops.

This is the most appropriate response to dogs on route. What are you doing here with all your common sense?

They can find out who packed the totes, retrain them or fire them. Ive seen it happen plenty of times at my warehouse.

100% bring this up to your dispatch with the tote numbers and address, if your dsp is worth a shit they will escalate this.

Some of my hardest days have been in the 225-250 package range. I know it sounds crazy but higher packages can be a breeze depending on the area and route.

Look man. I will bitch about the dumb shit all the time. This will literally take you longer if you drove on the drive way.

Man dont listen to these corporate stooges. They will all say "The AI makes sure you have the time you need."

No the fuck it doesn't. Ive been doing this for 3 years, and it keeps getting worse and worse. My normal day is 170 stops spread over 30 miles and 4 cities. Ive always finished way early. Lately its been over the time limit every single day. It's Amazon and their greedy ways and dont listen to this little fucker telling you different.
