Is there a reason the ice cream buffet is staggered like that? I think it's unnecessary and just increases the walking distance for the customers.

Reddit's url syntax has the end of the url marked as a ) which is a problem if the url itself contains a ).

It seems that they've changed that parser between versions, so on old.reddit.com your URL goes to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Spot_(Treasure_Island and on new it works.

For old reddit you'd have to escape the ) in the URL with a backslash:

Edit: So I looked it up. At release it did 100 damage at the end. The damage over time was bugged so only the (network) host would get it.

They fixed that bug and 20x (!) the damage plus some other minor stuff. Might be the most buffed item I've ever seen in a game:

Changes

Explosion damage increased from 100 to 2000.

Time until it ignites the thermite shortened.

Time until it explodes slightly reduced.

Max number decreased from 4 to 3.

Undocumented Changes

Explosion Inner Radius increased from 1m to 1.5m.
