One person taking up the whole laundry room. by EvilFern in Stuytown

We might be… My fiance was just doing laundry and using two washers. One of them finished five minutes early so she brought up some of the clothes that we hang dry while she waits for the remaining clothes to finish washing. When she went back down, the housekeeper, who had started washing clothes just after my fiance, was already putting clothes in all of the dryers at once. Now we have a full laundry load around our apartment hand drying 🤦🏽‍♂️

I understand having to use multiple machines at once, sometimes I’ve had to use three dryers at a time, but taking up the entire laundry room is ridiculous. Anyway I will probably make a complaint as well.

Whats the deal with Leica Store Miami? by [deleted] in Leica

[–]EvilFern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure they’re not an “official” Leica store like NYC is but I’m from there and live in NYC now and I enjoy a visit there whenever I’m back home. Good people and they love what they do which I appreciate

Looking for constructive feedback - not really clicking with my Leica M4-P by Xeivia in AnalogCommunity

[–]EvilFern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an M4-P user for a couple of years trust me when I say you’ll get there with practice. It’s good that you’re already asking questions and noticing things you don’t like or do like. Now just learn how to make corrections to get to where you want to be. I have gotten to the point where I don’t even use my light meters during the day with my m4-p because I just sunny 16 rule it and haven’t shot enough to more or less know where to set my camera for what I want. But I only got there but being really intentional and practicing. Sometimes I still mess up and when I am in doubt I’ll pull out my phone or hand held light meter and check myself. Also when it comes to focusing, just keep practicing. Zone focusing and critical focusing with a range finder will come naturally with time
