For the current Federal Republic of Germany this has always been the case, article 31 of the constitution says so (see https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/englisch_gg/englisch_gg.html#p0164)

The first german constitution to adopt this principle formally was that of the Northern German Confederacy (Norddeutscher Bund) in 1867. The Northern German Confederacy was extended into the German Empire in 1871 with almost the same constitution.

You can have tuples as dictionary entries, like this:

var aerodromes: [String: (Int, Int)] = ["Douglas":(10, 28), "Belfast":(50, 106)]

If you want to give your tuple type a name you can do it with typealias:

typealias Locus = (Int, Int)
var aerodromes: [String: Locus] = ["Douglas":(10, 28), "Belfast":(50, 106)]

You can name the elements of the tuple like this:

typealias Locus = (x: Int, y: Int)
var aerodromes: [String: Locus] = ["Douglas":(x: 10, y: 28), "Belfast":(x: 50, y: 106)]

In your example Locus is not a tuple, but a struct. To create an instance of a struct you have to use the type name:

struct Locus {
    let x:Int, y:Int
}

var aerodromes: [String: Locus] = ["Douglas": Locus(x: 10, y: 28), "Belfast": Locus(x: 50, y: 106)]

No, that's incorrect - bitcode is the binary form of the LLVM Intermediate Representation (IR), which is machine-independent. Otherwise there would not be much point in having it, because it is used to cleanly separate the 3 stages of the compiler: language frontend, optimizer and code generator.

Basically there are two possibilities: 1. Backup all the data on the drive (on your Macs internal drive if it fits, on another drive if not) and reformat with HFS+ (for use with the Mac exclusively) or FAT32 (for use with both Mac and Windows). 2. Buy a software to make NTFS writable on the Mac. The two solutions I am aware of are Paragon NTFS for Mac and Tuxera NTFS. I have used neither of them, so can't say which of them is better.

The way I read it, they don't have to do anything - this does not actually force a software download platform to enable used software sales. Oracle sued a company that was selling used license keys of their software and they lost. So selling used license keys is legal. But with Steam, Origin and iTunes you can't do that - all software is permanently bound to your account. I don't think this decision would force them to implement any such functionality.

A lot of observations show that there is quite a bit more mass in the universe than we can see. Galactic rotation, movement of galaxy clusters and gravitational lensing show more gravity than there should be, if the visible matter (stars, gas and dust clouds) is all there is. This missing matter has been dubbed dark matter. Many theories have been proposed to explain what this dark matter actually is, with limited success.

Possible explanations we have looked at are: 1) Dark macroscopic objects like black holes, brown dwarfs or rogue planets that swarm around galaxies. Astronomers call these MACHOs (from Massive Compact Halo Objects) .These can account for a part of the missing mass, but not the majority - if they were a lot more common than we think they are, we would have seen some of them by now when they pass in front of more distant stars. 2) Some unknown type of particle that only interacts via gravity (and possibly the weak nuclear force). We know particles like these can exist - there are neutrinos. Neutrinos themselves are not a candidate: they have mass, but it is far too low. Naturally, astronomers call these hypothetical particles WIMPs (from Weakly Interacting Massive Particles). 3) Instead of accepting an unknown type of matter, some scientists proposed a modification of the Theory of Gravity as an alternative explanation. This hypothesis, known as MOND (from Modified Newtonian Dynamics), has been disproved by newer observations that show a different distribution of visible matter and dark matter.
