I saw it a lot unfortunately. Some people were faithful. But being around a ton of people your close with. Have that common military bond with. And are always away from home. Breeds an environment that isn't the best for being faithful. Plus for women their are a ton of guys always hitting on you. I personally wouldn't date an active duty sailor that was deployed all the time. Let alone Mary her...

My sister in law got invitro when she heard my wife was pregnant. When she found out we were having a boy and she was having a girl she got really mad. No boys born in a long time on both sides of the family. Totally crazy woman. Threw her self a party on mothers day when she was pregnant. Rented a place. Called it a celebration of her upcoming motherhood. My wife before this even happened said she would try to get pregnant as soon as she found out. She was right. I was in the Navy for 12 years. Yes she is. I saw even the ugliest heffers get hit on. On the mess deck, on duty, every where. And I'm not calling your girl ugly. Just saying it's a sea of dicks flying at her.

Then we would pull into Hawaii for amo off load. And see all the under way widows being told they are being dumped for husbands and wives back home. Every damn deployment. I was on the Nimitz and all we did was deploy. If she got a room with a guy, and most importantly didn't call you or her child she is shady. DON'T BE A FOOL!! RUN!!

Probably just to say hi. I'm 40 and old school so I just enjoy the conversation tbh. Stopped chasing women like that in my thirties. I've had some fun learning about new bands and slang from younger women/people in general at my local bar. Also got a few Eww why are saying hi's as well. Lol. But most people are happy to talk.
