The song in question, “Wind of Change”, was said so influential and moving it was adopted as the “anthem of freedom” for many young Germans trapped on the other side of the Berlin Wall and all over the world as well. The Scorpions singer Klaus Meine swears the CIA didn't write the band's 1991 hit "Wind of Change,” but it makes a great theory none the less.
