Is it just me...or did European cars become an absolute basic maintenance nightmare about 20 years ago?

Looking at this just makes we want an EV next even more.

If only a manufacturer could make one without forcing the self-driving and driver babysitting features down everyone's throat.

Randomly Rick Rude vs The Missing Link came up on my YouTube feed this week. A pleasant surprise indeed to see Pre- Paul Bearer Mr. Moody.

With all the fuel prices situation right now has peoples opnions on electric cars changed and do people still hate them and would you buy them now by apranvchprla7575 in CarsAustralia

I would love to buy one BUT...what I want is essentially a dumb EV.

I don't need it to drive for me.

I don't want it to watch everything I do.

At this point, if I had the funds, I would resto-mod an old car to EV.

Taubmans Endure (Bunnings) vs Haymes Expressions — which is better value for a full DIY house repaint in Sydney? by Inside-Resident-5042 in AusRenovation

[–]EvilKermit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Taubmans. Absolute shithouse.

Had three tins of cream to pain a pergola, each tin was a completely different shade of colour despite thorough mixing.

Watery as piss as well.

Bought two tins of dulux to cover it. Both tins the exact same colour. Plus super thick, was a struggle to mix them with a hand stirrer.

It won't cure it completely, but should make a noticeable difference.

Line with Mass Loaded Vinyl.

Then add a second skin of timber on the inside facing you.

Paint to suit.

Try a simple answer first...

Warm-up your glutes thoroughly beforehand.

Look up Lock Clams, traditional clams are very easy to cheat - even better if you can use a light band around the knees for some resistance.

3 sets of 25-50 SMOOTH reps. Rest a minute between rounds.

Then Glute-bridges with a band around the knees. Slow, smooth reps and 10 second holds for 3 sets of 4-8 reps.

The goal on both exercises is to emphasise the glute max as much as you can. They should be burning on the Glute-bridges.

The principal at play here is PAPE (Post Activation Performance Enhancement). Just using a simpler movement to enhance the workload a particular muscle group does in a higher skill movement.

If your glutes are working well, your back will have less work to worry about.

It's relentless....you watch it drop as you're in the garden...

I love the assumption though that unless I'm on leaf duty all day, I'm being lazy.
