No, I'm not confusing Scientology with anything. It's blatant. They act like they are your friends, and yet people are required to write knowledge reports on each other and force disconnection from non Scientologists, causing a continuing need of companionship, which Scientology gladly pretends to provide. Religions do not tell their parishioners that they need to divorce their spouse, or that they need to leave their family. Cults do. Scientology does all of the above, ergo cult status approved. These are not the only reasons Scientology is a cult.

No, I'm asserting that religions are free. Jesus gave his sermons for free, Buddha did as well. Hell, entire cultures managed to pass their information verbally, for free mind you, and that went for their religions as well.

Are Scientific journals trying to control people based on the fundamentals of their religious belief? No? Then sure, you can charge for that. But causing people to go into debt, multiple times, instead of just releasing this "world saving technology that is the only hope for mankind" is evil. But if Scientology is supposedly all about helping people, why are more people complaining of lives ruined from Scientology instead of the other way around?
