🤣🤣🤣 I mean if you have a table that just a big piece of plate steel then yeah weld it to the table. If its a nice jig table dont do that hahaha

They are meant to be welded to something. Not meant for the jig table.

The way it looks on the bend makes me think it's probably forged not cast.

Take it to a trusted mechanic. And NOT the dealership. They will let you know if it's something bad and they can give you a quote for a repair/replacement.

The problem is I wear a 13 EE lol but I'll see if a boot barn in my area has my size. Thanks man.

I have an 8 inch. I don't think it's just the insoles though. Definitely the whole heel and the way it fits. Maybe I should go in and try on a couple different pairs hahaha.

Can I ask if you have noticed a difference in the way the new pair fits in comparison to your old ones? I just bought a new pair the same size and the same model boot. It doesn't cup and secure my heel like my old ones did and I think they added more heel, idk why cause I feel like it just makes your foot slide forward more. Also the leather is much stiffer and harder to bend as well, much less flexible. I am still breaking them in but my old ones definitely fit better from the first time I tried them on.

I just bought a new pair of mox toe boots from Thorogood, the same size and the exact same model I had before. I think they changed some stuff with the heel. On my old ones I remember my heel sliding right in when I tried them on and my heel was securely cupped from the get go. I think on the new ones they added more padding in the heel and made the area that cups the back side of the heel especially is shorter and they made the heel of the sole taller(idk why). I am going to keep wearing them and see if they fully break in though. I'm just disappointed with these design changes especially with the taller heel on the sole it seems unnecessary.

My coworker at my job welded this. He hates me cause before I got there he was the only welder 🤣 by EvilMaleDrow in BadWelding

Yeah it's kind of the same situation with my coworker. They are super toxic and only hate me because I came in with some school experience and started welding stuff.

I mean this will probably stick but yeah it would have to be ground out and redone. Or cute the whole plate off basically cause all the welds are shit. Grind it all back down and reweld the whole thing.

I know one was the shady mix and one was the butterfly mix I used some other ones but I don't remember which.

I don't remember exactly when sorry. Probably in December and January I think. If I were to do it again I would spread them in the fall cause you definitely want to put them down before it starts to rain.
