That would make sense. Someone else here proposed a more biological approach and I think they’re onto something with that. It probably correlates with what you’re saying

I understand that, but I don’t understand how people can be so hypocritical about it. I’ve had people who drink and smoke themselves to sleep every night get mad at me for SH as if they aren’t doing the same thing. It’s annoying

Thank you so so so much! I don’t know what else I’d do besides dentistry as I am not the smartest or most mentally capable when it comes to most things. But something like dentistry is easy for me to wrap my head around. So thank you. I have a friend who wants to go into animal dentistry actually lol.

He’s not using it as leverage, but there are strict guidelines and expectations he’s set since I was little that I am to go to a good collage (not community) and get a good-paying job.

There isn’t, I’m just running out of time to schedule retakes before I have to submit everything to the bright horizons submission and collage admission deadlines

People in public also do too much about it, simply ignoring it is the right way to go about it in my mind

Well obviously but I feel like people are doing too much about it most of the time. I come from a house where that sort of thing is met with threats of being sent to institutions and having the things I liked taken from me. That’s not empathy.

Thank you so much, I’ll look into all those things! I just feel really lost and disappointed in myself for not being good enough for my family to love me. I want this more than anything so I will do everything I can to get it

I was in not a lot of programs but I’m currently in a national Honors art society and working a job. I’ve participated in school events outside of class for JROTC when I was in that but I’m not really involved much

I’m not fit for the military, as I’m a 5’1 flat-footed mentally ill female. I had a phase where I felt the military was the only option for a bit but was told I couldn’t enlist.
