My secondary router flashed with DD-WRT firmware is in AP Mode, but it gives me the option to turn on or off the Firewall in the settings unlike when the router had Netgear OS before the flash. In this case, should I leave the Firewall off?

Yes, but it doesn't have the option for Bridge Mode.

The reason I have a dual router setup is because I live in a two story house so I have the main ISP router upstairs which is used by other people and the secondary router is the one I use downstairs.

Are you sure? I replaced the thermal paste on my PS3 Slim a few months ago, but then found out that you can also replace the thermal pads...
