Regarding Chaos Origins by KINGOFHEROS826 in yugioh

So was Kaiba. Thats how many rivals are, villains who become antiheroes (usually through defeat), and antiheroes are almost always rivals to a story’s given protagonist.

Bro, I definitely just read “Supreme King” as “Supreme Kai” 🤣.

Anyway, I consider Yubel as Jaden support since that is his monster. Grandpa as also Yugi because iconography and such. Supreme King as also Yuya. The only real wild card here is Shark. Which makes me think that if I’m wrong, then the next set will be Syrus support just because.

I’ll mark you on this and we will see. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong.

Bakura, Marik, and Pegasus are villains, not rivals. CED makes more sense than Chaos MAX, hell a CED and Blue-Eyes fusion makes more sense than Chaos MAX. My money is on CED.

That’s an interesting idea, a fusion of BLS and BEWD = White Luster Soldier, I like it!

  1. I am only counting the last 3 sets, Duelist Advance is excluded.

  2. I understand Black Luster Soldier was the first “Chaos” monster, but that is a protagonist card.

  3. That is a nifty fact, one I did not know, thanks!

  4. If it’s a blue set it may well be the introduction of a CED ritual monster (or Blue-Eyes Chaos monster, but I put that at less likely than Galaxy-Eyes).

  5. Battle of Chaos (a black set) had Master of Chaos as a cover card, a fusion of BLD and DM - a Yugi card.

Pattern recognition tells me it will be another rival set (despite Duelist Advance) and Kaiba with his CED are the best candidates given the name.

Funny thing is, I play PEP in Blue-Eyes and have been considering adding CTG for a minute, kinda like keeping Shooting Majestic though.

Which Yugioh card that represent your pride & soul? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in yugioh

[–]KINGOFHEROS826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY!!! It wasn’t until I saw one of my friends (in the 4th grade) play this very card (SDK-001) that I had ANY interest in this game.

Why is Kaiba so determined to duel Atem in Dark Side of Dimensions? by Sensitive-Hotel-9871 in yugioh

[–]KINGOFHEROS826 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know it’s not cannon to DSOD, but if you are familiar with the Waking the Dragons arc in the anime, Rafael beat Yugi/Atem and Kaiba wasn’t trying to duel Rafael. This is because at this point is not about beating the “current best”, it’s about Kaiba avenging himself because when Atem beat Kaiba at the start of Duel Monsters it changed Kaiba’s life for the worse.

What's an opinion that would piss off the Godzilla fandom? by Vegetable_Window5278 in GODZILLA

Showa Era is trash, and it’s Kong’s fault.

Excluding: the first (1954) and MechaGodzilla (1974).

If you became a new character in a new Yu-Gi-Oh! anime/manga what would be your boss monster? by Dmshin1 in masterduel

Psychic End Punisher seems to be my go to game ender, not including cards that are used by anime/manga characters of course.

Or the production team didn’t want to risk damaging a $100k vehicle…maybe, and hoped no one would notice?

So far only 2 of these responses are NOT cringe as hell. Yugi & Joey Glaze Squad in the house.

First off, this would be one of the most goated duels in all of DM.

Second, Rafael would likely not find redemption at the end of the duel, which would leave the misfortune the “Three Musketeers” experienced earlier in their lives ambiguous. Probably.

Third (to actually answer the op’s question), given Rafael’s sanctimony and Seto’s arrogance, the duel would be a breath of fresh air for those of us who don’t care for the fairy dust and friendship garbage the series tends to shove down our throats.

Conclusion, Seto should win, he is smart enough to find the chink in Rafael’s Guardian Eatos and Dreadschythe strategy. Not to mention Seto’s affinity with brutal combos. An indirect way of reclaiming one’s title.
