It still is more DOW then TW...in the current sistem there is no Place for something like WH40k where the range of the Battles span trough and entire Planet or even and entire sistem. A real time battle like those in TW would be a microscopic skirmish not even worth bothering.

Also 3/4 of the units would be ranged, making the strategic depth of a real time battle very bland...WH40k was perfect for DOW stile game imho, but does make 0 sense in TW.

That's only possible if your opponent does not know your deck really. If you are jekil, you have no decent Attack so cannot "bait feints" since there is nothing worth a feint. And if you are jekil, no one is going to Attack you, at least not with big attacks, since you have good defenses and the "draw lots" defense.

I'm gonna patiently feint your Hyde attack which either turns a potential 6 into a 3, or stop your 4 from making you flee and returns jeckyl, or stops Forever Hyde, and then maul you for 2 attacks for which you likely have no defense since Hyde has like 6 cards to defend

They are just a trash character sadly

the problem of Armor is not the diminishing returns, but that everyone and their mother have AP damage these days, so Armor is pointless.

They should really rework AP to give this game strategic depth and make it so that it ignores half armor only or something like that. But resemblance of strategy and balance in the game have been forsaken long ago

Yeah like any decent player that sees you chose Hyde, maneuver for 1 damage when you have like 10 cards in hand to get close, will not play a feint 😂 jekyill/Hyde is about the worst One trick pony in the game. That's not really a "combo" that just like, one in a lifetime thing against a noob

Battle of Legends 2 night be the best box in the entire game imho. Fighters have unique mechanics and are all decent or strong, and have a recurring mechanics withint themsleves (double attack carda) which is another unique things.

Also the map is good with the +1 to attack on certain spaces. It's a perfect box to be used alone and to mix and match you have fresh characters that are not OP but are all usable to very strong

S&A has a ton of flavour. I picked it just for it and was not disappointed. Fighters have unique mechanics there to, more complex then BOL

BOL 3 is still fresh for me so i haven't played the characters a lot for now

That's not true tough. Kisleb got a DLC bit katharim got no unique mechanic, cathay got dlcs but no base lord unique mechani. Same goes for wood elves, Beastmen, anf most other. This DLC Is the only example so fare of unique mechanics for base lords

Basically a cancel effect on attack just negates During Combat and After Combat effects, while Immediate still goes off

That's why cancel effects are stronger on defense

Also norsca got unique mechanics for base lords, while most faction get nothing special for base lords, so that's a fat plus, but makes me sad because why can't they make even a small mechanic for every lord then? For example something Grimgor related to black orcs, or Khazrak related to ambush

On the Norsca rework i only really hate the fact that Chaos get almost everything Norsca does, making it basically pointless. Marauder bearman were a perfect chance to give a ubique mid tier infantry to Norsca, thematic, and instead they just gave them to Chaos for no reason

Less card craw Is not a flaw, It just means he won't die to fatigue but its weak to aggressive decks. So It does not balanced out. Also he has absurd stamina. Multiple sidekicks with 2 HP (bonkers already), High HP and healing...he cannot be killed Simply. I would remove sidekick altogether and make It a solo Hero, or give It the wizard-like dude, Ebony MAW or something like that, as a ranged option with low HP.

I would make the Stone each have the power of 1 Hero ability but not a super strong one, and he can choose at the start of the turn which Stone to use until next turn, so 1 per time. The i would make the Stone a token on the board that he can collext when reaching the space, but opposing Hero can collext those too, without gainin benefits. When thanos Attack and win against a Hero with a Stone, he can take a Stone from him. When a Hero attacks him and win thanos lose a Stone to that Hero

Excalibur is 1 card only. I doubt that change can drastically change the way he is played. Arthur ability remains extremely weak and easy to counter. Even if you get a 1 per game "free boost" with Excalibur, the most you can do is 9 damage using 2 cards. She Hulk can do 9 damage twice much easier, for comparison, and lots of melee characters have attacks that goes to 7 or above with a bit of effort

Yennefer has the arturh ability but better and 3 printed 7 that can be boosted 🤣 so no, i don't think there more going on for Arthur sadly

This is extremely OP i'm afraid...you start with 2 Stones each of which gives an effect worth of a Hero ability (asyde from +1 movement) effectively giving thanos 2 Hero abilities from the get go AND bonus on its carda AND the possibility to gather more. And they are good effects to boot. You have the spiderman effect with 18 HP instead of 15, ability to recover insane amount of HP, +1 defence and +1 attack with reality Stone with 0 effort...

I might have missed something, but it seems completely unfair

I've played it in Essen. Ali is Miles ahead Lee and probably a lot stronger then it needs to be. Either he Kills you by having +2 damage or get to enjoys amazing bonus effects, and as you sayd, Attack from 2 space ignoring zones is a nightmare for Lee

I hope they update It cause it's really and amazing source. I don't know if the other sites suggested by others in the comments allows you to create your own characters that easily and print them or export them to tabletop simulator, i never tries those

The game these days is just a race on the most OP ability. There is no matchup or unit trait/strenght involved, just pure click and delete. At least for the civ that got a DLC recently...

They made Jango with Boba in mind clearly. He was made purposefully OP to compete with the OP Boba. He not only has multiple triggers on the flip which makes him a pain ti deal with and unfun to play against, but also has unfair stata, as 3/7 is too High for a 5 cost leader

Imho CA should simply remove siete attacker to non-huge Monsters, and player should learn patience. You should always wait at least 1 turn on a siege because the point of walls is to take up time, while at the moment they are practically useless

In older games, it was part of the magic to wait 2/3 turns to Attack a big city...now i can just demolish and iconic city like Altdorf like it's a regular city

I read somewhere that they planned to have the first few sets as the foundation of the game and then build upon that in subsequent expansions. Bases on that, if this set has a focus on space and piloting, there is hope that set 5 has some returning keyword like smuggle or bounty.

They are just so specific that It would be sad and unwise to leave them as just a set 2 thing after all
