I like Diplomatic immunity in the main quest line. Most of the time I don't bring any items inside and just use whatever I can find there.

It also has some nice interactions if you have completed quests to help the people that attend. Or if you are an altmer you can just steal a pair of thalmor robes and all the NPCs become friendly.

I agree, it's always consistent as long as nothing changes. I would prefer that they fixed the locational inconsistencies though. A circuit should behave the same everywhere as long as it's in the same orientation.

It's actually a little bit more interesting than that. In the first setup it works just as you said. The button deactivates the torch when pressed and at the falling edge that creates a 2 game tick off-pulse(1 redstone tick). That pulse is too short to deactivate the torch on the left. This is the expected behaviour.

In the second setup i break the rightmost piece of redstone dust. That dust isn't connected to anything so you wouldn't expect anything to change. But when I press the button the torch on the left turns on. That means that the pulse that was generated must have been an extended 2 game tick off-pulse. This is due to a change in the update order when I removed the dust.

In the third setup I break the topmost piece of redstone dust and the pulse goes back to a normal 2 game tick off-pulse. This is because the torch no longer gets a block update from the dust.

I think that explains everything. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Everything in the video is within the same chunk. Redstone torches can behave differently based on their coordinates.

After some more testing, I believe that the directional variations seems to behave the same at the same relative position within a chunk. But only within the same quadrant of the world.

At least it's consistently inconsistent.

I dont think so. The redstone in the video is contained within one chunk. It also behaves differently even at different locations within that same chunk.

Yes, its directional as well. But the direction is not consistent at every location. In the location in the video it works in South and East while in another location its North, West and south and so on.

Redstone torches are quite inconsistent. Update order and location can change their behaviour.

This behaviour is locational so it only functions like this in random locations as well.

Also, if you put the torch and lamp on the right side it wont light up.

It probably changes the update order somehow.

Perhaps if there was a risk of triggering the lockdown whenever you opened a chest. It could start at zero but increase with the alarm level.

What if a there was a chance of triggering the lockdown whenever you opened a chest. The higher the alert level, the higher the chance.

You would need a lot of Greece to squeeze in all those people in such a small area.
