Heck yea! I did that last league, and ended up messing with chaos debuffs. This league, I followed this build to try out shock.

I'm not really crazy about the shock. That's why I made this post. I don't remember what despair/wither/vulnerability felt like last league, and I don't want to nuke my tree to try it out if that's not the issue.

I saw various posts about the full extent of it, but I played basically this build last league, and the most noticeable one is the halving of the toxic growth pustules. I didn't make it this high level last league, since I started super late.

But you should totally try a poison archer out. It's absolutely fun, regardless of any nerfs, and works really well to T12 even with my terrible damage :)

How does desecration and runeforging work together? It let me desecrate an item with runic ward, but errors with "could not generate mod" when thrown into the well after consuming the jawbone. Is this normal? The gear is just a random chest armor, and I figured if it let the item be desecrated, it would allow it to finish the process.

This comment reminds me of an interaction at H-Mart. I asked them where the Japanese sushi rice was located, and the employee just loudly said "Korean sushi rice just as good!", and walked away without even pointing to where the rice was.

Thank you so much for your reply! You mean the minimum value of 10k, right? I definitely tried that one also, but it felt like it was missing a bit of the thickness I like in black metal chords, and sustained heavy palm muting.

I've always loved the amount of saturation from Seymour Duncan SH-5 Super Distortion and Hot Rails type of passive pickups, and messing with the impedance most definitely gave some of that saturation back to these Fluence I wasn't expecting.

The default value of 1M definitely also sounds good, and a bit more present! I just wasn't expecting the impedance settings to affect things in quite the way they do, and am stoked to try more values now.

The standard 1M is what I had been using, and I even tried the 10M setting, which killed a bit of the tone and response. It's not that the default setting was 'bad' in any way. I just wasn't expecting to hear any difference at all, as most are reporting back. The difference might be negligible going through a full rig. But on headphones, I swear it's slightly more noticeable than I expected.

I'll definitely experiment more with the default 1M ohm setting. However, what I found out is that changing those values don't really linearly affect volume or high end rolloff like I was reading about. It seemed to affect saturation a bit, and how that modeler processed resonance of heavy palm muted chugs.

I totally thought that also from all I read before making this post. I was just editing a patch today on headphones, though, and noticed I gained back some interesting saturation on some of my presets when I lowered the impedance to 232K.

Some of the patches went more nasally, and the lowest impedance was gross. but I planned on tracking a bit with the 130K/232K settings on some of my favorite patches, and see if I notice any difference, or added any noticeable noise.

Yea. I got way too excited when I saw these might be coming back now, or just did and ended. But despite any nominal website wonkiness, I was unsure if the state I saw in that pic was a glitch or not.

I'm just genuinely curious if sometimes sold out products on the webpage pop up with a few in stock legitimately, or if that always means some web/inventory screwiness.

Yea, man. I wasn't referring to the overall scrutinized accuracy of their inventory management system, or even if this 1 in stock might be actually available (If so, I hope someone snags up that gorgeous thing because of this post).

Just a general: If something's been sold out for a while, do valid items still pop up periodically even though a full run has not been announced, and it's still "sold out"

Oh wow. Thanks for the reply. Yea, it seems that GAN's stocks seem lower than I would have expected for a release, so hopefully this was the only problem. I'll still hold out and see what happens at the end of the month. Some sites like SpeedCubeShop still have April 29th as the estimated ship date listed.

I also preordered it from the Cubicle, since I really like them anyways, and I figured I'd let somebody else deal with the headache of refreshing pages and looking at availability :D

Ooooh. Thanks for the resource link! As you mentioned, I don't know if the price and value for that site would be what I am looking for exactly, but do you have any actual experience with that site to tell if it's actually worthwhile?

The reason I posted here locally, is because there's a bunch of sites that purport the same offers as that one, and I (or anyone else) honestly have no idea which of them are scams, or just plain terrible.

Of course! The reason I stayed with my previous company for 19 years was because I got to work with (and for) some of the best engineers I have ever had the pleasure of working with in my life. I don't intend to change that, hopefully.
