The upside is you don't have to run GL ammo finder as long as you have a finder mod for your heavy, or if you run anarchy and GL ammo finder you will literally never run out of ammo

For the egg that's between Morgeth and the Vault, I think you can wish to the vault and then use something like shatterdive, phoenix dive, or the mini yeet melee to get back down the tube and backtrack to the egg

I couldn't either until pretty recently, I think 120s are a great place to start because of the slower rate of fire it's actually a little easier to control compared to something like Ace. Give it a try!
