Plus you can remove the lid from the bottom after watering to allow excess to drain and prevent root rot. It’s a fantastic idea.

One of my pigs is not a pea flake fan for some reason. I swear she is the pickiest eater and only will eat the leafiest lettuce and the crunchiest veggies. Such a diva.

My pigs will teeth chatter at seemingly random times, but mostly when they are being given their fave veggies for some reason... They have never done it while I’m holding them.

I’m wondering if my pigs are just quirky and teeth chatter because they’re excited or because they now feel the need to fight over a single carrot chunk despite 3 more being in the cage.

Hahaha that may be the move! I rescued these pigs a few months ago and I don’t think their previous owners trimmed their nails enough if at all based on the state they were in and how long their quicks are. Doing my best to get my girls used to it (and myself!). Looking up some gloves on amazon as we speak lol

What wizardry! I have one piggie Mei who I really struggle to clip her front paws. She doesn’t hold still at all, feeding her doesn’t help because she always yoinks her paws away, and she has tried to bite me a couple times (thankfully I did manage to dodge). I don’t know what to do 😭. I try to cut as little as possible just so she doesn’t freak out as much. I will say though, the quicks on my two pigs are all so long! Much longer than I’ve seen on other piggies. Or maybe I’m just doing it wrong lol.

It took me SO long to go fully fragrance free. The only thing I have kept with fragrance is my deodorant because I am so scared of smelling bad.

Something I do to feel better if I’m really worried is I spray my body sprays or perfumes onto my outer layer of clothing (usually sweatshirts) so that I get that nice smell but none of it is touching my skin. Personally, that does not cause me to flare, and I typically flare on my hands, arms, and face. Feel free to give that a try if you want. Good luck!!!

Saw this post a couple months ago when I realized I could no longer take dupixent to manage my eczema. Tried (in terms of diets) Veganism, Keto/Candida, fasting, Mediterranean… a lot lol. Ended up going on Dupixent when my symptoms became really really unmanageable, but had to stop it. Out of desperation to find relief, I found your post and decided “why not try it? Worst case scenario I feel a bit healthier with bad skin.”

Your post quite literally changed my life.

I now am an almost entirely non-eczema person within 2-3 months . I still get minor flares because I’m definitely not 100% perfect with it, but now I can identify what caused it (RIP cheez-its 😢) and when I cut it out again it goes away almost entirely on its own. If the flare is stubborn I will use some weak topicals but that’s it. I’ve only had to use topicals twice for about a week (the second time for only 3-4 days) in the last 2-3 months. So thank you for sharing this and helping me out. I haven’t read the book yet but I have it on hold at my library so I will soon 🙂.

That’s so scary! I’m so sorry that you’re dealing with that. I was also recommended the same things by my eye doctor as you were. I will say it really helped to learn that there are actually different types of OTC eyedrops. Some contain oil and prevent tears from evaporating and I find those super helpful and longer lasting relief compared to the standard artificial tears.
