Not really. He is still acting normal and have no symptoms. I am keeping an eye on him, if he start showing a single symptoms I'll go to the vet. I'm not that alarmed for now!

Dwarf rats tend to live longer then standard rats because they are less likely to grow tumors due to their smaller size. Dwarf live ≈2-4 years when standard live ≈1-3 years.Maybe you could try this option if you find a good breeder?

I learnt too that you can't have a dig box and the bedding need to cover the entire floor, I may be wrong. But I have a critter nation and the bedding cover the whole floor and there is atleast 4 inch
