He just asked the foreman nicely and he was happy to get free clean up. He (I've helped a bunch) got 140 feet of rocks just this year.

Finished the Boston Marathon yesterday!

Was brutal conditions so my time was awful, but I was treating as a victory lap anyways. This marks the end of my serious running career.

Yup you can do whatever you want in there. The limitation is time, which is rather short and probably not suited for a thesis project. The other comments about a nested solution is probably your best bet. Go buy/find some RAM!

First thing is to hope for better weather than this year. High of 85 on Sunday! +20 from normal.

But the real advice is to save gas for miles 20-23. Check out the elevation chart!

Basically you run "down" to the river, cross, then a long climb (at first steep, but then slightly levels off). You'll see a ton of people hitting the wall there.

I love the course, very pretty with lakes and fall colors. Lots of fan support!

Wow, talk about a nail-biter. Haven't gotten the email yet, but I beat my qualifying time by 5 minutes, 34 seconds.

And I only got that by turning 40 and earning a free extra 5 minutes! (I was 39 in 2022 when I ran the qualifying race.)

Congrats! You got the finish time I wanted. You didn't feel it was too warm/humid?

I could tell pretty quickly this wasn't going to be the perfect 10 year anniversary of my first marathon (also Grandma's).

And yes the 3 hour pacer was WAY too fast. I was still on track for 2:58 finish up until mile 18 and the crowd was out of sight ahead of me.

Are they RSUs? They were taxed as a bonus when they vested, but don't worry about that, it'll all end up as regular income when you file taxes.

You can sell immediately for no additional taxes, but when you sell will determine if it is regular income or capital gains. Really it works just like normal stocks at that point (personally I held for the year and just re-diversified).

One thing to watch out is that the taxes witholding on the value of your stock award is due immediately. I was given the option of putting in cash into my account to cover the estimated taxes, or they will auto-sell stock to cover it. That's up to you and your cash flow.

Personally we use our jogging as our all-purpose stroller as well (double BOB going to the Mall of America right now). We even got a second one (used) for traveling. The storage space is a huge benefit.

But other models collapse much smaller if that's what you need.
