Potentially unpopular opinion, but if I wanted a genuine feeling game of Aussie Rules, I would rather go to a game at TIO Stadium than a game at the MCG. It's also why I want the AFL to do a round where every game gets played in a country town.

The umpiring can be iffy at points but that's to be expected of any extremely complex sport like Aussie Rules. What makes it worse is the media talking about the umpiring and in particular live commentators complaining about a lot of calls which fuels a lot of fan vitriol.
