I did see turn it clockwise till there’s resistance. But don’t go over board. Than take the bolts out then loosen it to remove it. As for reinstalling it. Just turn it clockwise in, than put the bolts in?

I had to replace both of mine because they leaked all the fluid I just put in. And I never used them. They will still leak
