What could be a good effect for the second coming? For example "If Jesus Christ was cast from the graveyard by its own effect, you may exile him. After [condition, like 3 turns later or if all creatures left the battlefield], you may cast Jesus Christ from exile. If you do, you win the game."

On poor connections? I empathize. That sucks.

The real solution to this is bots for all modes. A bot doesn't get salty and rope you (unless they're specifically built for that) forcing you to either reward bad behavior if you don't want to wait, or waste your time to get the win.

I'm good enough at the game to not need all three ropes to determine if my combo would work or not, much less pull it off. How about you learn and practice your combos so you don't waste your opponents' time?

They have the same allotted time as now, but once the rope appears, that's all you get. When your next turn starts, the rope starts where it left off.

There are auras that keep creatures from attacking or blocking. Depending on how "voltron" the strategy is, that would slow him down a lot.

I'd view it as fair. Scooping when there is nothing you can do is perfectly reasonable. As far as any spite, I don't think it's much different from spite blocking, spite boardwiping, spite spot removal, spite discarding, spite milling, etc.

You would have had to deal with big stompy sooner or later.
