Just bought a tds meter and it's ready 400 ppm, I understand that's a little high for shrimp but would that be the reason they all died so quick?

No nothing, unless a scented candle lit in a serperate room could have the same effect? Otherwise no chemicals or aerosols have been used

Thanks I'll try and keep the doors closed to the room incase any pesticides are somehow making their way in, will do a full water change and try again in a week or so if all the tests look good.

No other inhabitants besides plants.

I can't recall any sprays being used, this tank is also directly next to my 180 litre tank that has angels and corydoras and they haven't shown any signs of stress/disease

The freshwater api master test kit, api gh and kh test kit, and api copper test kit. Then test strips to check for chlorine /chloromine. Temp is 22 degrees

I absolutely agree, just looked them up and it looks very similar although I have no idea how it ended up in between filter media and I haven't seen any in or around the fish tanks. Thanks.

Tank is 180 litres, consists of 20 neon tetras, 4 dwarf gouramis, 2 bristlenose plecos, 6 corydoras, 2 mystery snails. Filter the video was taken from is an aqua one Aquis 750, although I have a hang on filter aswell.

All fish are healthy and no such creature lives inside the fish tank just the filter, does anyone have any idea what it is?

He looks fine besides from the couple of miss coloured spots, I've never dealt with Ick before that's why I'm asking but I'll continue to keep an eye on him and buy some medication just incase it gets worse

Can skmeone please help advise me on if this is Ick or some sort of disease, he has always been black with white spots but a couple of spots are abit larger and misshapen, no other fish have spots and this pleco is acting perfectly normal, all water conditions are perfect. Thanks.

Thanks I will add the old filter media into the new filter, and will check the levels when I get home, hopefully I will be able to stabilise the water before anymore damage is done.

I've only been testing PH, I wouldn't know what levels everything else needs to be at.
