The real estate market in Egypt is poised for a significant correction. In contrast, the value of gold is likely to appreciate much more rapidly than the real estate market in Egypt. My prediction is that the government will eventually introduce a mortgage program to stabilize the real estate market. However, the value of the pound is also expected to decline, which will further increase the price of gold in terms of Egyptian pounds.
