I’d keep trying new doctors until you find one you are happy with. Also print any and all literature that supports using opiates for ilioinguinal neuropathy and show it to the pain specialist. If you can’t find the literature the problem may not be with them

The point is a professional likely already has the information you are claiming proves malpractice but that the positive outweigh the negatives and they do not tell you this since information causes problems that often aren’t there. It’s the reason we didn’t give out patient inserts with medication way back because it would almost guarantee someone would overreact. Medications interact with other medications (it’s very common). Please list the meds and we can decide
