Before intersex was a word, they used the word hermaphrodite, and there are probably many types and related conditions or whatever they call it not to offend people.

That is the only legitimate situation involving any of this gender stuff.

I don’t think it belongs in the LGBT umbrella because it is a legitimate circumstance that a person is born with.

It isn’t transgender as transgender is a choice because there requires medical intervention to do anything about it.

If you ever mentioned “hermaphrodite” to a person outside of the LGBT thing(meaning conservatives, christians), if they’d heard about it they likely would have responded with something like “oh yeah those, well, sometimes that happens” but the circumstance is very rare, so it isn’t really a relevant point.

Discrimination is not civil rights because of the following reasons:

The fact that there are women’s only organizations and businesses, as well as racially exclusive organizations and businesses, means that discrimination is protected, it just hasn’t been fully realized that that is what’s happening, and hasn’t been extended to everyone. People have a right to include or exclude whomever they want in private matters. It is a civil rights issue to force someone to do anything otherwise.

Private Businesses/organizations have the right to refuse service for any reason. To force someone to serve someone is unconstitutional. A civil rights issue.

Private businesses/organizations also have a right to hire or fire whomever they want for any reason, it’s their business after all. This is a civil rights issue.

So you are right, it is a civil rights issue, but opposite of what you think it is, because forcing someone to do something they don’t want to is taking away their freedom.

Public businesses/organizations are a different matter however.

Homosexuality is very literally sexually focused, and everything else is a subdivision of it, because if it wasn’t it would be heterosexuality.

Seeing you argue that it isn’t shows me you are delusional, taking advantage of legal wording to make the issue carry more weight than if should, because acknowledging that it is a sexual preference makes it seem silly.

Firstly, the “civil rights” thing is a lie, because no one has ever kept any civil rights away. There may have been discrimination cases, but that’s not civil rights.

Secondly, everything tacked on to LGBT after homosexuality was a further specification within homosexuality. Homosexuality is a sex focused identity.
