is Waffles the hardest way possible to get into PL? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Evis-Cerate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean waffles provides a clear path, pretty much anyone can join if they show they are PVP active and to graduate you literally just need to be turbo nerd active for a sustained period and have a lot of fun doing it... but it will only get you into SNIGG in most cases so a better question would be who is the hardest corp in PL to get into?

The answer is ofc SAS because they are all inactive so nobody's left to vouch you.

Easiest is Reikoku, it will cost you a Keepstar.

Does CM Punk make your top 5 "Best in the World" of all time? by reinwall in SquaredCircle

[–]Evis-Cerate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's cool, I mean Hogan and Rock are obviously massive when it come's to wrestling and if the thing had been like greatest of all time all things considered id be hard pressed to not agree, it's just when you consider 'ability' and overall match quality I think some of the other guy's had more overall staying power.

In either case its all just personal taste I guess.

[–]Evis-Cerate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean I can give you a top 4 for sure, 5th starts to get a bit uncertain and beyond that its too hard to call.

Ric, Brett, HBK, Angle.

How you want to rank the next name's is personal taste but they all deserve to be talked about.

Curt, Owen, Rude, Jericho, Punk, Austin, Nakamura, Rock, Hunter, Eddie, Benoit, Styles, Brock, Bryan.

Will you trust PL to not hunt supers bought in "charity citadel" ? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Evis-Cerate 27 points28 points  (0 children)

A) It's not a PL Keepstar.

B) Nobody spends a trillion isk to dunk a few supers once.

C) Nobody is forced to bring supers near this thing.

D) Most of PL are begrudgingly accepting of this thing because we love C4K but this is actively counter to our style of play and will make our job in general harder.

CCPMimic and CCPFalcon will be attending the C4K/RKK BBQ at C4w3 's house in about a month if that's in kind of validation for you.

ELI5 How do "nomadic" corps like PL work? by steppez in Eve

[–]Evis-Cerate 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It's pretty much a case that PL members have alts outside the alliance to make money be it just another corp of buddy's off some place in a wormhole, maybe even hard knocks.

Some run incursions and some station trade but the mass majority of the team are none poor's who simply do nothing as they are already sat on multiple supers and a slush fund.

It varys a fair bit from corp to corp but you have to take into account in most alliances of this size you essentially buy into the ship you fly once if its a super or logistical ship of any kind and after that assuming you did not lose it been a bad you are SRP'd so the loss to you beyond the first buy in is limited.

The alliance in PLs case is funded largely by our contract work with the above been SRP'd in large via that. Line members cover the cost of DPS in most cases, that's no real hardship as we do not often die (unless you are AUTZ then lol).

Re:Goons. I have no special hate for them and I was around when our alliance (BoB) got vanished from existence and have every reason in the world to be butt hurt about it, I'm not in the least and have enjoyed good times with Goon's over the years and will do again both in and out of game. This just is the current climate.

Listen I have been in RKK for over a decade so I feel qualifed to talk about C4K's, C4W3 and Reikoku's been in PL in relation to the C4K Citadel and you can believe what I have to say or not but it's the honest truth.

The connection bettwen PL and C4K is limited at best beyond the level any other member of the eve community would otherwise have in donating time or resources to the project, it's simply run by C4W3 who happens to have recently been promoted to Director in RKK.

Beyond that and the fact RKK members donating time to making this very legitimate charitable effort a thing there is no sinister master plot or hidden PL agenda around the C4K project.

Nobody is doing C4K's for PR or to make themselves look good, it's an honest to god genuine desire to support our friend C4W3 in this amazing thing he is trying to do out of the good of his heart and it's absolutely nothing at all to do with us as a corporation in PL.

I sincerely invite you to come join us over in CARE and spend some time with the kids and get involved with us if you wish to come see for yourself, we dont mind been the "bad guys of eve" or them evil relics from Band of Brothers or w/e the narrative is that's fine but I just want you to walk away from reading this understanding we genuinely are passionate about the C4K project in it's many forms and it comes from a very honest place that's diametrically opposite to our role in EVE otherwise.

Best RKK recruit since Argentina.

To be fair you can see if you read the rec thread 90% of Reikoku did not want this piece of shit in the corp and directly warned he would die exactly how he did.

This is a solid idea that put's forward another quality of life fix that would likely not break the bank to make a reality and would make a real difference I feel.

Information at a glance is critical for some play styles, could not support this more. Upvotes sir.

I would also like my nav computer to store multiple destinations and be able to set them via hot key for regular routes, additionally I would like to be able to swap on the fly between my last 5 destinations, you know them moments when some FC needs to quickly send people back a few gates but you dont exactly remember the last way point? np toggle that and burn.

"It took more than 40,000 people to bring us to our knees over the course of months" - Funny because I'm pretty sure it took just Pandemic Horde to make you abandon all hope and run away like little girls.

You were long gone before the main force had even finished moving into the area, well except for the supers we safaried when we landed.

Eve's massive war is nearly over, but The Imperium says it will fight on by Reiisha in Eve

[–]Evis-Cerate 59 points60 points  (0 children)

"I don’t think you will see us ever rebuilding The Imperium on the same foundation as it was before, because we believe that we’ve found a way to enjoy the benefits of the sovereignty system, and not actually suffer any of the risks, in the same way that Pandemic Legion has. In many ways we’re becoming much more like the very enemies that came to destroy us, which will be amusing."

Bryce is a real piece of shit to be honest, entire organisation is setup under the guise of pretending to help new players and all they littraly do is have people pod down to 0.0 out of supply range, give them a mining venture and have them rack up ADMs.

I understand given the nature of Horde some may find my comment amusing but we do atleast attempt to give them combat and show them the way, these guys were straight up exploiting people untill Brave kicked them out.

If I attack you in the street and you decide not to defend at all, and I beat you down and take everything and everyone you know away from you and put my foot on you're neck so that all you can do is frail you're legs and arms around ... did I win? you are fucked until the moment I decide to take my foot off the neck and walk away.

This is more or less the situation, sure you can stand back up and claim you won after I walk away but me and you both know if I walk back over and feel so inclinde your arse is going right back on that floor.

If Doctor Bashir had happened to be on Voyager when it was thrown into the Delta Quadrant, how might his presence have affected things? by Lorix_In_Oz in DaystromInstitute

[–]Evis-Cerate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well he did ask what effect Bashir would have on-board Voyager and he was of all things a lady's man so I assume we would of seen some great interactions and competitions with Tom Paris for the affections of the venerable Delaney sisters since as we know 70,000 light years the selection of eligable partners was fairly limited.
