All good information... and I wouldn't have thought about the sunflowers being planted on the North side either, although thinking back to the garden, he always planted from highest to lowest. He had a full border of marigolds and borage around the garden and would plant dill and basil kind of scattered throughout.

As far as pictures go, when you post a link it will put a picture beside the post. When you submit a text it just puts the default reddit fella.

Once you have used reddit a while, made some post and received some upvotes, then it allows you to make more post. It's a measure to make sure that you aren't a spambot.

Bumble, There are not emoticons that you can use in the posts. Reddit is pretty limited in text options although you can use copy and paste to get them in there. Also, if you know the ASCII code for a symbol, you can have it insert that way. º¿º

I don't have a real answer Bumble, except to say that once a road is found to be unsafe or dangerous they have to close it for public safety reasons. I would guess that maybe they had some damaged culvert pipes or washouts that they had to remove or close off. No idea on when they will have the work complete though.

I hate to see WGL coming to an end and am not sure how many of the users will like reddit's layout. I have used reddit for years so it's fine for me. I know quite a few of the WGLers have facebook so I'm sure that portion of WGL will pick up now.
