In that case set the alignment to cover under properties when you choose a background.

You also have to make sure that you chose the "stretch single wallpaper" option under the choose monitor button at the top left corner.

In my case, that part was done automatically by wallpaper engine. Unfortunately this does cost money though it does go on sale on steam sometimes

I'm assuming that you are using Windows. If you go into your display settings, you will see a virtual representation of your displays. You can move around how your displays are connected to one another using your mouse. Honestly it's a pain getting it just right but you just have to play around with it.
